DKG Florida State Awards Committee Report
The 21-23 Awards committee looks forward to the important responsibility of facilitating the award of our DKG Florida state organization’s most distinguished honors. These awards include the Sarah B. Ferguson award, the Media Friend of Education award, and the Legislative Friend of Education award. Though the award cycle is just beginning, it’s not too early to begin thinking about nominees for these awards, especially the Media and Legislative awards. These awards are given to legislators and media sources in the state of Florida (local, county, or state-level) who have made positive contributions to education. Guidelines, applications, and deadlines for all awards can be found on the Florida DKG website under the Awards committee page.
