Personnel Committee Article
Florida State Organization of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International has four ladies that receive compensation for the work they do for us. I will also say the compensation is very little for the task they are charged with. We all need to express our gratitude and thanks to these ladies as often as we can.
Carrie Frye, our Executive Secretary, takes her job very seriously and works closely with our president. You will see emails from her when communication is necessary. Please, when you see these emails, read them and take whatever steps are necessary to insure our business is taken care of in a timely manner. Always let Carrie know you received her emails.
Beverly Stagg, our efficient Treasurer, regularly keeps in contact with chapter treasurers to make sure Florida’s financials are in good order. She would remind chapters to make sure all members have current contact information on the International Website. Should anyone need help, please contact her.
Bonnie Kelley is the state’s editor. Florida should be very proud of not only all the good things we do for education and our members, but also the Florida Rays which lets us read what is happening in Florida. Bonnie does an outstanding job and is regularly commended by other states for her editing skills. Bonnie is another good resource for helping chapters get all members to update contact information on the International website.
Missy Jones our webmaster, keeps all members updated on all the activity in Florida. Remember, in order for Missy to keep us informed, chapters need to send meetings dates or any other dates for fund raisers. Missy would also be glad to help any chapter needing assistance with designing a website or getting the website approved by our International Society.
All Committee Chairs and District Directors should check their links on our state website to make sure they are updated.
Remember to thank these ladies often.
